Our first and only walkbout act…

PICTURE THIS…

Imagine enjoying your starter at an evening event, or sipping your first cool drink of the evening, as you notice 3 stunning women in period dresses. They introduce themselves to your group, and ask you your name - when you’ve given it to them, they launch into a smooth, three part harmony of a recognisable song - but changed to be in a 20s swing style. THEN… they mention your name - you’re a part of the song!!!

They work their way around the group, involving each guest in a bespoke swing chorus. Stunned, you watch as they move to the next table and involve even more of the guests in bespoke reworks of modern songs, all in a gorgeous 3 part harmony, post modern jukebox style!!

The singers can also act as hosts during the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly - keeping the energy high, and joining in and encouraging them in getting into the ‘swing’ of things for the event.

The act can also be dressed as waitresses instead of glamorous 1940s dresses, to make the personalised songs more of a surprise!

HOW IT WORKS…

If you know anything about the Tailors, you’ll know our singers are highly experienced in singing about people! And in this spin-off act, we don’t require any prior information about the guests. The rewriting is done in real time… the team go in with over 15 swing versions of choruses prepared, and can handle any guest name thrown at us! (If you’re lucky, we might even be able to take a request…😉)
