You feel very comfortable around them
To spend the rest of your life with someone, you need to feel comfortable around them, and we don’t just mean vegging out on the sofa on a Saturday night! You need to make sure you can be your true self in their company, and feel that you can show your true emotions around them.
2. You have great communication with each other
Having strong communication is so important with any relationship, not just romantic ones. Getting engaged, and then getting married, requires great communication between the two of you. It’s about having honest conversations with each other, and taking their point of view on board. Equally, it means voicing your own opinions and not just going along with their decisions. Good communication will help you get through life’s hurdles as a couple.
3. It doesn’t feel scary
Admittedly marriage can make people feel a little bit nervous, just as any big life decision can.
